Mineral Insulated Cable (MIC), also known as MI cable, is commonly referred to as mineral cable or mineral fire-resistant cable in China when used for wiring. It consists of a copper core, mineral insulation material, and a copper or other metal sheath. Currently, it can be divided into rigid and flexible types according to its structure.
Advantages: fire resistance, high operating temperature, long lifespan, explosion-proof, small outer diameter, waterproof, high mechanical strength, large current carrying capacity, rated short-circuit fault value, grounding, and high corrosion resistance.
Applications
